Custom Typography

Exploring typography, I was asked to design an album cover for a fabricated band, using purely original type. I chose the band “The Weird Sisters” from the Harry Potter series. With the band’s punk rock essence in mind, I went on to create a capital alphabet that would capture the band's spirit. Incorporating the type into a full album design, I chose to highlight symbolism from the Harry Potter movie. The Weird Sister's hit song in the movie is "Do The Hippogriff" so I thought it suiting to incorporate that symbolic element as well.
